Depart at 7:00 a.m. via Chengdu-Ya’an Expressway through Xinjin, Pujiang and Mingshan. Stop for a rest in Ya’an, the City of Rain. Enter mountain roads with cautious driving after exiting the expressway. Have lunch in Tianquan County, then traverse misty Erlang Mountain. Pass through the tunnel from Longdanxi to Bietuo Village of Luding, leaving the West China Rain Screen behind. Admire the spectacular Luding Chain Bridge over Dadu River. Proceed along Wadan Road to Jiaju Tibetan Village of Danba and appreciate the unique residential architecture of Jiarong Tibetans.

Farewell to warm and charming local girls in Danba in the early morning. Drive via Bamei to Tagong. Experience authentic nomadic life on the vast grassland with flocks and herds. Head to Xinduqiao, famed as Photographers’ Paradise for abundant shooting views. Cross Zheduo Pass; when clouds clear, overlook rolling snow peaks of grand snow mountains. Arrive at the romantic city Kangding immersed in classic local love ballads.

Set off for Hailuogou after breakfast. Switch to eco-friendly shuttle bus at the scenic entrance to Camp Three. Witness the magnificent maritime glacier with the lowest latitude in Asia. Stroll along fresh forest paths for natural oxygen therapy. Soak in hot springs to wash away tiredness and regain full energy. Enjoy casual drinks with friends under bright moonlight beside hot springs, listening to birdsong and flowing water, indulging in peaceful natural sounds.

Leave the hot spring resort after a good rest and start the return trip. Sing happily on the way and head back home with joy.
