    Fly to Kathmandu, capital of Nepal (altitude 1370m, time difference +2 hours 15 minutes). Nestled in northwest Kathmandu Valley at the confluence of Bagmati and Bishnumati Rivers, surrounded by green mountains, evergreen woods and bright sunshine, the city enjoys pleasant weather all year round and is praised as Paradise in the Mountains.     Head for Pokhara known as Switzerland of Asia (altitude 885m). Optional 1-hour thrilling Trisuli River white water rafting at own expense on the way.
