  • Exit China at Zhangmu at 10:00. Be greeted by a Chinese-speaking Nepalese guide at Kodari Port. Drive to Bhaktapur afterwards. After lunch, tour this well-preserved medieval ancient city founded in the 13th-14th centuries and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Major attractions cover the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 Windows, Batsala Devi Temple and Nyatapola Temple. Proceed from Taumadhi Square to PottersSquare, where you can purchase exquisite local wood carvings and pottery. Known as an open-air museum and a living cultural relic. Move on to Nagarkot at 2175 meters above sea level, a prime spot for Himalayan sunrise and sunset. You can overlook world-renowned peaks including Everest, Shishapangma, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Manaslu. Your fairyland journey begins.

  • Watch spectacular Himalayan sunrise early in the morning, then head to Kathmandu. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the New Royal Palace and ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace guarded by brave Gurkha soldiers. Explore legendary Kumari Bahal Living Goddess Temple and Kasthamandap Temple which gave the city its name.

     

    Drive to Patan Ancient City. Magnificent Patan Durbar Square is an outstanding artistic treasure and Newar architectural masterpiece, with Krishna Temple, Royal Palace, Char Narayan Temple and King Yoganarendra Mallas Statue. Wander charming old alleys and visit the famous Golden Temple and Mahabouddha Temple.

     

    After lunch, tour Pashupatinath Temple, Nepals most sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, famous for traditional local cremation rituals and open only to Hindus. In the afternoon, visit Boudhanath Stupa built in the 7th century during the reign of Songtsen Gampo. As the largest stupa in Kathmandu Valley, it maintains close religious links with Tibetan Buddhism and Lhasa.

  • Enjoy hotel breakfast, then drive west to the quiet scenic town Pokhara. Lunch arranged en route.

     

    Route info: Around 200km between Kathmandu (1337m) and Pokhara (884m). As a mountainous country with underdeveloped infrastructure, the trip takes 6 to 7 hours.

  • Depart for Sarangkot at 5 a.m. to admire stunning Himalayan sunrise and panoramic Annapurna mountain range. Snow-capped peaks glow beautifully, especially the majestic 6997m Machhapuchhre. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Relax in the garden enjoying pleasant sunshine, fresh air and exotic atmosphere.

     

    After breakfast, visit Davids Fall (30 mins) and Tibetan Refugee Camp (30 mins), where local women weave fine Tibetan carpets. Stroll along 3-4-kilometer lakeside streets, bars and restaurants on Hippie Street to appreciate charming valley scenery. Take a 1-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake to reach Varahi Temple on the island. Hike through dense woods to World Peace Pagoda (1.5 hours), constructed by Japanese Buddhists and offering top lake and mountain views. Unwind in this peaceful town and spend romantic quiet nights with global travelers.

     

    Pokhara is the best place to clearly view Himalayan summits. Lofty Annapurna Mountains tower over the town and lake. Peaks over 8000 meters look breathtaking seen from 884 meters altitude. All mountains present dual reflections on the lake surface during boating.
